Kendall Cliffs, LLC (“Kendall Cliffs,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a subsidiary of Appalachian Outdoors, LLC, operates Kendall Cliffs Climbing Gym and the website kendallcliffs.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit the Site, book or attend activities, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us.

Information we collect
Information you provide to us:
- Liability waivers (completed digitally through our provider, Zoho): participant name, date of birth, gender, address, email, phone, emergency-contact name/relationship/phone, and related acknowledgments. Waivers for participants under 18 are completed by a parent or legal guardian and include the minor’s information.
- Bookings, lessons, and events (through Acuity Scheduling): name, contact details, appointment details, and payment, which is processed by Stripe.
- Online store purchases (through Ecwid): name, contact, billing/shipping details, and order information; payment is processed by Stripe.
- Newsletter signups (through Zoho): your email address, when you opt in.
- Contact, inquiry, and lead forms: your name, email, phone, and message.
- In-person point-of-sale transactions: purchase information entered into our POS system, which is maintained internally.
Payment information: Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically: When you use the Site, we and our analytics/advertising partners may collect device and usage information (IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar) through cookies and similar technologies. These partners include Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook), and Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising).
How we use information
- Provide, schedule, and manage activities, lessons, events, bookings, and purchases.
- Process payments and help prevent fraud (through Stripe).
- Maintain waivers and emergency-contact information for safety and legal compliance.
- Communicate with you (confirmations and service messages; and, if you opt in, newsletters and promotions).
- Advertising and marketing, including measuring and retargeting ads through Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
- Analyze and improve the Site and our services.
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Children’s information
Our activities are open to minors, and we collect a minor’s information only through a waiver completed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian for participation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain waiver and safety records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

- Marketing emails: opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
